Debby Monfort

Communications Coordinator

Debby serves as the Communications Coordinator at the Center for Invasive Species and Ecosystem Health at the University of Georgia. Since joining the University in 2023, she has leveraged over a decade of experience in advertising and marketing, coupled with a background in agriculture, to enhance the Center's communications strategies. Her key responsibilities encompass project coordination, program implementation, website development, and providing marketing and communications support for both the Center and its stakeholders.

Debby plays a significant role in several major programs, including Wild Spotter™, Gulf South VECTOR, IPM Symposium, Invasives Free, and Squeal on Pigs! As part of her responsibilities, she is committed to advancing the Center’s diverse undertakings while bringing a fresh perspective to facilitate effective communication between project developers and end users.
